Eat, Drink and Be Married.

We aim to be good stewards of the land. Our food finds it roots in locally grown fruits & vegetables; artisan breads & pastries from neighboring bakeries; fresh cheeses, cream, butter & eggs from CNY dairy farms, and proteins that are harvested in ecologically-friendly ways. From this bounty of good ingredients, our executive chef and his kitchen staff create the hearty gourmet fare that guests favor, even at upscale gatherings. While we too can appreciate the beauty of a single scallop or green bean, drizzled in an exotic aioli, we just don't believe it should be the only item on your guest's plate. As our Catering Director often reminds us, "Food feeds the souls of those we care about. So keep it fresh, but make it friendly."  And so we do.

Serving Styles.

From a festive tasting to a chic black-tie affair, the style with which you choose to serve your guests is what transforms your event from an ordinary get together, to an unforgettable social affair.    

A Plated Meal
Also called a "seated meal", this traditional full-course breakfast, lunch or dinner is ideal for more formal events. Your guests will enjoy elegantly styled, individual portions of your chosen dishes, served with meticulous timing by our professional wait staff. A plated meal places the primary focus on the quality and tradition of the meal and keeps your guests seated for the duration of your meal together.

The Grande Buffet
Hearty, homey and plentiful, a buffet can satisfy your guests' diverse tastes and hungry appetites by offering a variety of foods to choose from. Buffets present all of your chosen dishes together, allowing your guests to serve themselves (and freely go back for seconds).

"Stations" are often added to the traditional buffet for a slightly more elegant meal.   Each station features a professional chef who prepares a single dish to order for each of your guests. Hand carved, slow-roasted meats, freshly prepared pastas, specialty ethnic foods and signature desserts all add a fresh touch of gourmet to your event, while still allowing your guests to enjoy a sit-down meal with extra helpings if they so choose.

Whether it's simple or grande, the buffet style of serving places a primary focus on the variety of food and affords your guests the freedom to get up and move about during your meal together.

The Cocktail Party
This highly social serving style lets guests mingle freely while enjoying hors d'oeuvres and drinks and lends itself perfectly when you'd like to constrain your celebration to only a few hours long.   It is also the prelude to a plated meal or buffet when you'd like to spend time with a special group of guests before you begin your larger celebration.  
Hors d'oeuvres can be butlered by our professional serving staff or gourmet "Displays" can be set up in various spots around the room.

Cocktail parties place the primary focus of your event on the socializing between your guests, versus the food itself.
