On July 8, 2017 we had the pleasure of hosting the wedding of Kyle Luqman and Jordan Wenzel. We loved working with this sweet couple! They tied the knot on a picture-perfect summer day here at the zoo and we couldn’t be happier for them.
Kyle and Jordan got married in our courtyard, and they rented a large white garden arch for the ceremony. An arch is a terrific idea to help define the large, wide-open space.
After the cocktail hour in the courtyard and the indoor zoo, guests headed into the banquet room for dinner and dancing. Kyle’s mother did a fabulous job with the decor.
All of the silk flower arrangements you see, including the arch decor, aisle arrangements and Kyle’s stunning bouquet were created by her mom.
The wooden boxes were handmade too!
Kyle and Jordan gave each guest a box of animal crackers, which are a popular choice here at the zoo.
The couple opted for a small cake to cut along with cupcakes and individual pastries for their guests, which has been a big trend for the last few years. The Half Moon Bakery in Jamesville created the dessert display.
