On September 9, 2017 we had the incredible honor of hosting the wedding of Marissa Porter and Jenna Brockhuisen.
Marissa hails from Syracuse, but the girls currently live in Delaware – so all the planning was done long distance, with lots of help from Marissa’s mom here in town.
The ceremony was held in our Courtyard.
After the ceremony Marissa and Jenna posed for photos with their wedding party while the guests sipped cocktails and visited with our animal collection. Their early fall date allowed them to take advantage of our lush gardens and landscaping around the zoo.
Then the happy group headed over to our outdoor amphitheater.
After the cocktail hour everyone moved into the banquet room for dinner and dancing.
Jenna and Marissa are not big cake fans, so they featured homemade pies on their dessert display. They were a big hit with the guests!
After dinner and desserts, DJ Matthew Tumbelekis kept the dance floor full all night long.
What a fun celebration! Best wishes to Marissa and Jenna Brockuisen, we wish them both a lifetime of love and happiness.
